This week’s featured knife maker is Maker of the Week Info , showcasing custom builds using GripX composite knife handle material. Makers across the industry trust GripX for its non-slip performance, durability, and confident grip in demanding real-world use.
Hey Matt,

Thanks for including me in your maker of the week series!

Here is the info you needed:

Name/Company Name: Jake Cook (WJC Knife and Tool)
Logo is attached (I don’t have any headshots)
Region: Union Bridge, MD USA
Signature Blade/Style: I primarily make full tang and hidden tang recurve hunters, and full tang recurve EDCs. If I’m known for anything, I hope it’s my handle sculpting, that’s where I spend the most time lol. I like to play with lines that flow from the blade, through facets in the handles, so the pieces are seamless. The goal is to make the entire knife look like one unitary piece, even though it’s made from different materials. I don’t think I’ve achieved that yet, but I’m going to keep trying.

Hope this is what you are looking for :) let me know if the logo resolution is poor - I’ve had issues with images being over compressed in email before.

Thanks again!
Jake
