Martin put together this stunning bird & trout using Graphite Diamond Edition GripX — and the result speaks for itself.

Diamond Edition GripX uses mica powder for pigmentation, creating a refined metallic sheen when finished. The Graphite variant develops a deep, varied grey-black chatoyance reminiscent of carbon fiber — subtle movement, serious presence.

Martin chooses GripX for two simple reasons: ease of finishing and uncompromising traction. Wet, bloody, or adverse conditions — the grip, feel, and control deliver every time.

Diamond Edition does like to be sanded higher than OG GripX to unlock its full visual depth. Martin noted the chatoyance really began to pop around 600 grit. He typically finishes to 1000 grit — even with OG GripX — and then applies a light mist of WD-40 to enrich the color and bring the surface to life.
